Known to race fans as “Gricey” Allan Grice has raced it all including Australian Formula 2, Australian Touring Cars, Australian Sport Sedans, AMSCAR Series, World Sports cars, Australian GT and V8 Brute ute series.
Grice made 26 starts at the Bathurst 1000, winning the great race twice. Once in 1986 with Graeme Baily and again in 1990 with Win Percy. Grice took out four championships including 1978 Australian Sports Sedan Championship, 1979 Australian Sports Sedan Championship, 1984 Australia GT Championship and the 1986 South Pacific Touring Car Championship.
Allan Grice was a successful hard nosed racer that could mix it with the best this country had.
